Good coffee, fast delivery

I ordered the Jamaica Blue Mountain coffee. It arrived quickly. The coffee was very good. I'll likely order again.

Quality coffee, slightly slow support

I bought a rare coffee sampler and overall, I was pleased. The variety was excellent, and the quality of the Panama Geisha was outstanding. Shipping was pretty quick too. My only minor issue was when I had a question about one of the roasts; customer service took a couple of days to respond. Not a huge deal, but something to note.

Detailed review of my Hayman order

I placed an order for the Saint Helena coffee in whole bean form. The website was easy to navigate and placing the order was straightforward. I received an order confirmation almost immediately. Shipping took about 6 days to reach me in California, which was within their estimated window. The packaging was robust; the coffee bag was sealed well and protected. When I brewed it, the aroma was distinct, and the taste was smooth with subtle notes. It's definitely a premium product. I haven't needed customer support for this order, so I can't comment on that. Overall, a solid experience for a specialty coffee purchase.

Great value on first purchase

This was my first time buying from Hayman Coffee. I got the Hawaii Kona coffee. The price was competitive, especially with a first-time buyer discount. It felt like a good deal for such high-quality beans. Very happy with the purchase.

Amazing Panama Geisha

Oh my goodness, I tried the Panama Geisha coffee and it was absolutely divine! The flavor was so rich and complex. I've never tasted anything quite like it. I'm already planning my next order and telling all my friends who love coffee about Hayman Coffee. This is my new favorite place to get coffee!

Got some Nespresso pods

I just wanted some good coffee for my Nespresso machine, so I grabbed their Nespresso compatible pods. They worked perfectly, no issues with the machine. The coffee tasted way better than what I usually get. It wasn't cheap, but it felt like a nice treat. Might try the ground coffee next time.

Does Hayman Coffee offer any free shipping to the US? Or is it always paid?

E Elena 2 months ago

I've never seen free shipping specifically for US orders, usually, it's just for international stuff or sometimes during special promos for everyone.

N Neil 2 months ago

Pretty sure they charge for US shipping unless it's some big holiday sale or something. But sometimes if you sign up for the newsletter you get a deal that might offset it.

what's the deal with returns? if i order a specific roast and totally hate it, am i just out of luck?

T Todd W. 2 months ago

Pretty sure you can't return coffee just because you don't like the taste. That's usually how it goes with food products.

M Mark Lindqvist 2 months ago

yeah, I don't think they do returns for taste preferences. Afaik, it's only if something was wrong with the order itself, like damaged or wrong item.

Can you use the first-time buyer discount if you sign up for a subscription? Or is it only for one-off orders?

T Todd J. 2 months ago

Nah, i think the first order discount is usually for single purchases. Subscriptions already have a built-in discount so they don't stack usually.

Yeah, I tried that. The sub price is already lower so the intro code didn't work for it.

I'm thinking about trying the Panama Geisha, but man, it's pricey. Is Hayman legit or am I gonna get some stale beans?

R Rachel 2 months ago

They're totally legit, got some of their Blue Mountain a while back and it was amazing. Fresh roasted too.

For real, they specialize in the super high-end stuff. Never had an issue with freshness, even with the expensive ones. Worth it if you can swing it.

do their nespresso pods actually work well? sometimes the third-party ones get jammed in my machine.

C Cleo 2 months ago

I use their Nespresso-compatible pods pretty regularly, never had a problem with my machine. They fit fine.

No issues here either. They're good quality, not like some of the cheap ones that feel flimsy.
